You Can Own a '10 Trans Am Today!

The minute the Camaro was announced to return from the great wrecking yard in the sky, people - especially you Pontiac fans - cried, "Where's the Firebird?" Well, sadly, GM killed Pontiac almost the exact same time that the Camaro was ready for purchase, leaving many F-Body loyalists in want. Several car builders and aftermarket companies toyed with Firebird/Trans Am retrofit kit ideas, but never really went full throttle with the design. Well, until now...

This 2010 Camaro has been given the Trans Am-retrofit treatment thanks to Chris Leith Performance Division. Building only four and only two of those four available to the public, this 1-of-4 Trans Am concept vehicle is a collector's item already! We liked this "Bandit" homage best of all the previous versions of Camaros-gone-Pontiac because of the little cues that distinguished it from so many others.

A collaborative effort between Trans Am Depot, designer Kevin Morgan, Todd Otto of Otto Body Customs and Chris Leith who dreamed up the concept, the revised "Bandit" is nothing short of a work of art with custom badges, "Bandit"-style '78 T/A wheels, custom-embroidered leather headrests, cool golden-brown carbon fiber panels and custom body panels, a totally throw-back grille and tail light panel as well. As of right now, there's still no bids with a starting price of $60,000.

Numbered as "Serial #3," this is only one of the two available hand-made Trans Ams for sale. The other two are committed to museums and car displays as tributes to the film's infamous Pontiac. The list of one-off parts is numerous, but highlights include the dual quad down-turned exhaust tips, the steep tail spoiler, custom T/A 5.8 "Shaker" hood scoop, and iconic "Screaming Chicken" Firebird logo on the hood. We only wish this was a t-top!
